Bingo, a game of luck, was long forgotten but has made an impactful comeback recently and is a hit on Fun Fridays. It has now garnered a fan following in offices, clubs, and all professional setups.

Objective: Team Bonding and Engagement

How to play: It’s a simple game where participants mark off numbers on their cards as and when called out. The host shuffles a bucket of numbers ranging from 1 to 90/99 and calls out one by one. Everyone gets a card with numbers mentioned on it. If the numbers are present in their card, they strike them off, and the game continues till all the numbers of any one participant are struck off.

Winner: The first participant marking off the first five numbers, the first, middle, and last lines, and the corners wins. The best prize goes to the one having the first full house, i.e., the first person to mark off all the numbers in the card.

Pictionary: Employee fun games in the office on Fridays include Pictionary. It's a drawing version of Charades. All the employees are divided into teams. It enhances creative thinking and strengthens communication skills.

How to play: One team member of Team A gives a word to another team member of Team B. The team member of Team B tries to explain the word by drawing the word to his team members within a given time limit. The process is followed till all participants of both teams get one chance.

How to play: This can be played individually or as a team. A puzzle is given, for example, jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku, logic puzzles, etc.

Scavenger Hunt: In a scavenger hunt activity, everyone looks for treasure by following clues and solving puzzles within a given time. Team members plan, allocate tasks to different team members, and work collaboratively. It promotes active participation and teamwork.

After completing the task within time, all the items in the basket are free. Minute to Win It is similar. You are given 60 seconds to complete a task. It can be a team event or an individual activity. It inculcates the habit of strategising every move and responding, and not reacting to situations.

Objective: Responsiveness and Adaptability

How to play: HR personnel design a series of quick and fun challenges by using everyday objects like coins, balloons, paper cups, etc. A timer is set, and team members have to complete the task.

Winner: The team/employee who completes the task correctly in the shortest time is the winner of the challenge.

Story Chain: Story chain is one of the fun games in the office on Fridays. It relies on the imagination of participants. It is a team storytelling fun activity where every team member adds one sentence to the story, and it's amazing to see where it ends. It boosts creative thinking and enhances listening skills.

How to play: A prompt is given to all the teams, for example, ”I was walking home from school when…” Every participant keeps adding one sentence each, and the story moves forward.

Two truths and one lie: Two truths and one lie is one of the fun games in the office on Fridays, which acts as an icebreaker. This activity helps team members have candid conversations, incorporate inclusivity, and develop faith among themselves. It encourages team bonding and collaboration.

How to play: Assemble all the participants, both online and offline. One by one, every participant will state one lie and two truths. Everyone will guess the lie. The answer shall be revealed along with the story behind it.
